After some formative “proto-Kennings” years of subterranean fermentation, Songs of Verdant Bone, Wandering Suns & Harvest Moons, and Eldritch Winter mark the consolidation of Vesper Kennings into a fraternal creative engine fueled by a spirit of hermetic self-sufficiency and remote rootedness.
The three releases are the fruit of a distinct period of time, but they also ended up forming a trilogy of works revolving around some recurrent themes. Looking back at the thematic whole of cyclic necessity found at the heart of whirling wheels of bone, spinning harvest time labyrinths and spiraling wintry abysses, it is unveiled as MAANSYÖVERI, or the Terrestrial Vortex.
